Fave race: Whangamata Triathlon in New Zealand. 1km swim, 30km bike, 7km run, fantastic ocean surf swim, tough hilly bike and then a beach run in front of the holiday crowds.
Fave Training or Racing tip: During an Ironman set your watch on a 30min timer so every 30mins you will hear it beep making you drink and eat and not forget when you last had some nutrition. That way you can concentrate on the race up front.
What you tell yourself when it hurts: Toughen up and think of the family!
