Triumphs and Tenacity: VISION's Unforgettable Tour de France

The Tour de France 2024 was nothing short of spectacular for us, showcasing the prowess of our cutting-edge cycling technology and the incredible athletes who rely on it.

  • Mark Cavendish's Record-Breaking Victory

Mark Cavendish made history by securing his 35th stage win, becoming the all-time leader in Tour de France stage victories.

This monumental achievement was made possible also with our Metron 60SL wheels and Metron 5D 3K ACR & Metron 5D EVO handlebars, which provided him with the speed and stability to achieve such a great achievement.

  • Richard Carapaz's Climbers' Triumph

Richard Carapaz claimed the polka dot jersey as the Tour's best climber. His prowess in the mountains was on full display during his victory in Stage 17, further cementing his status as one of the world's top cyclists.

He also wore the coveted yellow jersey after an outstanding performance in the third stage, allowing him to wear at least once all the leader jerseys from the three Grand Tours.

  • Jonas Vingegaard's Remarkable Comeback

Jonas Vingegaard's return to form after a serious injury in the Basque Country Tour in March was nothing short of inspiring. Demonstrating incredible resilience, he secured second place in the general classification, just behind the formidable Tadej Pogačar.

Vingegaard's victory in Stage 11, where our Metron 5D EVO handlebars led the way, highlighted his determination and the superior performance of our equipment.

The 2024 Tour de France will be remembered as one of the most thrilling in recent years, delivering incredible performances and emotions to cycling enthusiasts around the world. FSA-VISION is proud to have played a part in this unforgettable event, supporting these extraordinary athletes with our top-tier technology.
