Team Novo Nordisk is the world’s first all diabetes professional cycling team. Yes, two decades ago, an all-#diabetes pro cycling team would not have been possible, but thanks to Phil Southerland, co-founder and CEO of the team, and Novo Nordisk, this wonderful dream has been reality. Their common vision is to inspire, educate and empower people around the world affected by diabetes.

“99 years ago, insulin was discovered, which means life for people with diabetes. Without it, I would not, nor would any of our riders, be alive today,” Team Novo Nordisk CEO and Co-Founder Phil Southerland said. “I’m very thankful for the discovery of insulin and we are eager to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of this monumental moment in 2021. This is why we are so motivated to inspire, educate and empower everyone affected by diabetes. We are showing the world that you can still chase your dreams while living with this condition."

A community of champions that is supported by Full Speed Ahead from many years.
«We are in fourth season supporting Team Novo Nordisk and its important mission with our top-of-the-line cockpits - said Claudio Marra, Vice President and Global Marketing Manager of Full Speed Ahead. – We’ll give our passion and excellence at disposal of Team Novo Nordisk’s athletes, in order to help them to reach their goals during the upcoming racing season».
Team Novo Nordisk was founded in December 2012. Over the latest year we have seen TNN’s riders protagonist in WT many races, above all the Milano-Sanremo. We all remember the breakaway of 2019 Milano-Sanremo with 4 team’s riders included. But the first seed of the team was planted 99 years ago. Yes, you got it right!

This year the navy blue jersey of Team Novo Nordisk shirt will have the symbol 99 on the chest and various points on the kit and indicates 99 years since the discovery of insulin. Why? Insulin, the life-saving solution for people with diabetes, has been discovered 99 years ago. The shirt continues to highlight the phrase "Change diabetes" on the chest with white text, which is the team's mission: “inspire, educate and empower”, bringing awareness to TNN’s mission to inspire, educate and empower everyone affected by diabetes. The blue circle is a global symbol, to make everyone more aware of the importance of treating diabetes.
