Another Ironman Kona finishes and we are all reminded why it is a special place that brings together all things triathlon for one week. Vision again was present in supporting professionals and amateurs alike with tech, product, and marketing efforts. What a race this year’s edition of the Ironman World Championships from Kona was! Typical Kona racing conditions, hot and humid, shaped the race making the finale even more exciting.Vision sponsored athletes Carrie Lester (8th) and Andy Potts (14th) and top tier age group athlete Dylan Gleeson (8th) relied on their Metron wheels, aerobars, and hydration systems along with FSA Powerbox power meters to regulate power output on the bike.A great performance for Chris Leiferman of our BMC-Vifit Pro Triathlon Team partners too, crossing the finish line in 10th place in his Kona debut. Equipped with FSA PowerBox and Vision Aerobar, Chris performed very well and can be proud of his top 10 in his very first Big Dance.Of course, big congrats to the 2019 winners Jan Frodeno and Anne Haug! For all the triathletes that came to Kona a big shout out for having the strength and motivation to have gotten you here. Aloha till next years’ Kona.
