“It’s been a very busy year so far building on what I learned as a Rookie in 2015.  This year has been all about building the right foundation in order to develop to the world class level I am working to achieve.  Last weekend in Whistler I cracked my first Top 10 in an Ironman as a Pro placing 9th at Ironman Canada.  It was a very strong field with 7 of 8 competitors finishing ahead of me being previous Ironman Champions.  I am excited to build on this result through the rest of the year. Earlier this season I placed in the Top 20 at the Ironman North American Pro Championships in St George and placed 12th at Ironman 70.3 Victoria, just a little over 3 minutes off of the podium.”

“My current plans for the fall are to race Ironman 70.3 Austin in the leadup to Ironman Arizona in November.  After wrapping up my week of rest, it will be back to a big block of training in order to prepare for those two races and make some more progress in the process.”
