FSA and Vision are so excited to dive into the Giro d’Italia Final week! Indeed our sponsored teams have been protagonist over the last weekend, both for the stage win and overall win.

Team Astana rider Dario Cataldo took a heroic victory yesterday on the streets of Como at stage 15 of the Giro d’Italia. After a few days of illness, Cataldo was able to move himself in a breakaway together with the Italian rider Mattia Cattaneo. Spending all day long in the leading group, at the finish line in Como Dario outsprinted his breakaway companion, taking the most important win in his professional career.

Meanwhile is continuing the challenge between Vincenzo Nibali (Bahrain-Merida) and Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) for the final overall. Yesterday the Italian champion has been able to claw back 40 seconds on Roglic. In the overall standings, Nibali is now third overall, 1:47 down on Carapaz, while his deficit on Roglic has been cut to just a minute.

A great performance by EF Education First rider Hugh Carthy too. The 24-year-old British rider finished the stage in 4th position, in Yates, Nibali and pink jersey Carapaz peloton, reaching the 4th position in Under 25 white jersey overall.

Yes, a fantastic final week is waiting for us!
